For me this sounds so awful TT How can something like this happen in our world nowadays? We don’t live in The middle ages anymore. How can society ignore coercive conversion? Don’t we all Support Freedom of speech and Freedom of Religion? The People should stand together as one and protect each other, no matter which religion they belong to.

Anybody should spread this issue, not just Koreans or those immediately involved. Let's raise awareness in our global community about this shameless act of violence against religious freedom and humanity!!

!!! PARENTS KILL THEIR DAUGHTER FOR HER RELIGION !!!
you guys can't believe what I have read on New York Times 😱
A girl named Gu, Ji-in who lived in South Korea was killed for not following the rules of the Christian Korean Council (CCK) !!!!!!!! It all took place this year! No not in the 16 th centry! It happened in 2018!! Yes 2018! I thought we live in a time where religious freedom is a basic human right....
Even though the pastors from CCK manipulate parents from young people, who decide to live their lives the way they want to kidnapped them And to put them into forced conversion bearings until they change their mind and come back to CCK. If they don't obey, this young people are abused and locked away.
This sounds more like a prison at the middle age. How can things like this happen and no one try to stop this?!
We have to stand up and do something to stop this. Please share!!! Tell everyone you know about it!!!!

in Korea, I've heard that the organization of CCK makes those kind of brutal things. not only Gu Ji In here but also unaccountable young people are brought to the pension and they are forced to take the course to change their religion. but honestly it is really questionable if the organization, which need to do of the mercy and the love of God, has done this things, and can we call them as the organization from God, Jesus? it is true in the Christianity, and I don't really want to say that I'm Christian in Korea at least.

So many questions come up in my mind when I read this. What are the parents thinking?! What kind of organisation is this CCK? Who are those so called "pastors"? What is the government of Korea doing? I am honestly shocked by what I know now and wish that something will be done against it!

Whaaaat? ㅠㅠ very sad fact.. How come the government doesn't take any actions?? How can the CCK as a Christian organisation abuse religion!? The freedom of religion is a human right that MUST be protected. Can't find any more words for this..

in what time do we live today the medieval torture methods are applied?
It is long overdue that such practices are banned and the pastors are brought to justice. It can not and should not be tolerated the freedom-consuming & compelling methods. Or are neither constitutions nor human rights no longer valid?

Keeping people locked is a crime, especially for their belief. And if someone dies, it's way too late to react. Do please, at least now - react!
